I passed by. And, I learnt something.

Some people told me that friends come and go. Love comes and go, too. At first, I hesitate of believing this. But after some time, when I looked back in life and think of it, I had to agree.

You might think that friendship lasts forever. That was partly true. You might find yourself being close to someone at one particular time, and somehow at one time in the future, you both drifted apart. You both are not as close as you once were or, sadly, not being friends anymore.

When you are not as close as before, the friendship knot is still there, still hanging on there. Good for you. But when you both decided not to be friends, sadly, the 'friendship knot' had disappeared. Unfortunately, that's pretty sad.

It's sad. But that's reality.

Maybe, one particular person was not meant to accompany you through the journey of life forever. But, appreciate it as the person had once lighten up your life, making your smile wider.

A friend come to teach you something about life. About the journey. And when their tasks is done, off they go. At that time, you might drift apart from them.

A friend might stay for quite a while, and some, might just pass for a quick visit.

Think about it friends, think about your friends who had drifted apart with you. They did teach you something about life right? Making you happy, at least once. Or, making you sad. And sometimes, friends might hurt their friend, yeah. But that's normal.

When I looked back and remember about friends who had hurt me, I realize that it hurts only for the moment. I had long forgave them, although I cannot treat them the way I used to.

The same thing applied to love. Yeah.

Sometimes, when it was not meant to be, you have to just let it pass. To love is not always to own. Believe in your fate, hope for the best, make a wish and let fate lead you to where you should be.
